There is no better way to honour Canada than by red-lining at 9am 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The Moose on the Loose 5K is the best way to kick off your Canada Day celebration at Jericho Beach. A fast race, prizes for the podium, and a social to follow. Wear red and bring your energy!

RACE DAY

8:25am — Athlete arrival (meet near Jericho beach concession)
8:35am — Group warm-up begins
9:00am — Race start

RACE FORMAT
• Mass start
• Seeding markers will be in place — line up according to your expected finish time
• Start your watch when you cross the start line, overall winners are determined by first to cross the finish line. No watch? No problem. Someone will help you time your race or self time with the start line timer.
• All participants are encouraged to run with Strava. Strava data will be used to fact-check results before awards are handed out.

9:45am — Awards & post-race social
