CUT is kicking off its second race season with four races over four weeks. Runners earn points at each race for both participation and performance. You can race once or all four times, but each race requires its own registration (four total). Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up for each race you plan to run.

Points are collected weekly, and the runner with the highest total for each cut (division) at the end of the season will take the season title and prize. Huge thanks to our race season sponsors for making it all possible-LSKD, Hoka, Hettas, Hundop, Tree Brewing, and Bzzz Bombs.

For each race, please try and arrive 15 minutes early to check-in and complete your own warm up. We will be starting the races at 6:30pm sharp.

Points System

• 1st place: 25 pts
• 2nd place: 22 pts
• 3rd place: 20 pts
• 4th place: 18 pts
• 5th place: 15 pts
• Attendance: 10 pts

A high‑intensity 5K race broken into progressive sprint segments:

• 2800 m
• 1800 m
• 400 m

Athletes earn points based on placement in each segment, with overall standings determined by total points accumulated across all distances. This format rewards both speed and strategy.

An elimination‑style track race where the full field starts together. After each lap, the last runner across the line is eliminated until only one athlete remains. High tension and a major crowd favourite. We will be hosting an end‑of‑season party afterward at 1155 E 6th and would love for everyone to join.
